My Story

My journey began back in 1996, the first year I took my family seasonal camping on the Cape Cod Canal. A broken-down pick-up camper and a Montana pack tent! The kids loved it - riding bikes, watching ships roll by, making new friends, and S'mores. I fell in love with the lifestyle - the outdoors, fires, laughter, and friends. I knew that someday this would be a bigger part of my life!!

In 2015 I realized I could fulfill two passions at once; helping people with the RV knowledge I had acquired over the years, and full-time RV living ... if only I could find an on-road income. Enter the NRVTA! In the fall of 2021 I sold my home, hit the road, and I the spring of 2022 I graduated from the NRVTA! 

 

Why "Road to Freedom"? Because that's what this lifestyle is for me; it's also what I wish it to be for you! The light house is a beacon of light that keeps ships out of distress and a landmark in the dark as to where you're at.

The Road to Freedom LLC intends to be an all-inclusive destination for you. From pre-purchase consultations and inspections to assure you begin with the right RV for you, to servicing and maintaining your RV so it remains your happy place, as well as teaching you how it all works, how to set it all up and break it all down, and learning how to drive it, back it up like a pro, store it or haul it on down the road.
